Fire commission approves April chief’s report, notes $2,743.66 in expenses

The City of Green Lake/Town of Brooklyn Fire Commission on April 29 approved Fire Chief William Wagner’s monthly report and the department’s invoices totaling $2,743.66.
Wagner told commissioners the department recorded seven fire calls in April, has begun ESO reporting and is scheduling a 2% audit. He said staff are working to implement an Employee Assistance Program to support personnel. Commissioner Todd Morris moved to approve the report; LuAnn Mirr-Frank seconded and the motion carried.
The commission also noted two meetings held during the month and that Wagner attended the countywide fire association meeting and a job fair at Green Lake School. The next regular meeting was set for May 27, 2026, at 6:00 P.M.
