Resident urges clearer lane guidance at Pitt School/A Street temporary configuration

He told the commission the lane changes and cones made turning movements ambiguous and that a motorist ended up traveling the wrong direction in a work zone.
"That intersection needs to really be, roughly, the engineering or something, needs to be more informational," Ward said, urging city engineering to review signage and temporary configurations so drivers unfamiliar with the change are not put at risk. Director Rafi Boyan acknowledged the complaint and said staff would follow up with engineering on temporary signing and operations.
The commission did not take formal action during the meeting but the director said staff would investigate and follow up with appropriate departments.
