The council approved several administrative and community items on June 10. Council Member Wyatt Lundquist moved to appoint Clay Chase as Airport Manager; Council Member Tim Matsui seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Council Member Tim Matsui moved to approve an extension to the Civic Building Art contract; Council Member Will Menzies seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The council also approved a street-closure request for the Methow Pride Parade; the motion passed with Council Members Menzies and Auburn recorded as voting for and Council Member Lundquist abstaining.
Council Member Lundquist also reported on upcoming Parks & Recreation activities and urged public support for pool fundraising and attendance at public outreach events for the Glover Street project.
