Council approved a joint resolution (20251217-03) allowing one property on the Lindstrom border to detach from Lindstrom and annex into Center City so the owner can access Center City sewer service. Dan explained staff reviewed infrastructure and noted the Center City sewer line is closer and that Center City has agreed to serve the property; the joint resolution was prepared by Center City counsel.
Council members noted this situation had been discussed previously and, given the proximity to Center City services and the owner's interest in getting sewer service, voted to approve the detachment/annexation unanimously. Staff noted the legal description was being finalized by Center City counsel and that approval proceeds contingent on confirming that description.
