The Lindstrom City Council unanimously approved a resolution to accept the preliminary and final plat for an extraterritorial subdivision at 33175 North Lakes Trail after a staff presentation and planning commission recommendation. Planner Kendra explained the proposal is a lot combination and three-lot subdivision outside city limits within the city's extraterritorial review area, and recommended concurrent final plat approval to reduce time and cost for the applicant.
Kendra described required dedications and constraints: Newman Trail will be dedicated 33 feet, North Lakes Trail 60 feet, drainage and utility easements will be recorded, and shoreland and wetland delineations will be required for lots bordering North Center Lake. Council members questioned fee and recording conditions; staff agreed to add an explicit condition requiring payment of fees prior to recording. The council approved Resolution 20251217-02 on a unanimous roll call vote.
