City staff reported they had not yet heard from FEMA about an intent-to-apply grant for replacing a damaged storm siren behind the fire department. Adam Clark moved to replace the siren at a cost not to exceed $25,000; Pam Koerner seconded and the motion carried.
Lana Robinson advised the council that FEMA's response on grant eligibility remains pending. The council authorized replacement to ensure alerting capability while staff continues to pursue external grant funding.
