"Police Chief Kirk Richardson told the council the police department is having a difficult time determining what ATV's are permitted to drive in city limits on Ordinance No. 926," the minutes state. Richardson also suggested lowering the permit fee from $100.00 per year to $50.00 per year to encourage compliance and simplify enforcement.
Council members heard the proposal during staff comments; the minutes record the report and suggestion but do not show an immediate vote or ordinance change on June 17.
