“We're projecting revenues of 3,100,000. This does include the scheduled rate increase of 25% that will occur in July 2025,” Kate said. She listed water capital requests including a $250,000 meter‑replacement program, $25,000 for SCADA improvements, $150,000 for generator replacements and an initial $1,000,000 request for an industrial well replacement project that, combined with $700,000 already budgeted, would total about $1.7 million but likely will require more funding over time.
Councilmembers requested a fuller update on water capital projects and their alignment with the rate‑study recommendations; staff agreed to provide a comprehensive status update, with one councilmember asking for a report by July that compares current progress to the rate‑study overlay.
