Committee amends and extends several contracts and lease assignments, including Tompkins Insurance and tower lease assignment
Summary
Supervisors approved amendment to extend the Tompkins Insurance broker contract through April 30, 2027, corrected the assignment of a tower-site lease to a Tarpon Towers II entity, and amended a contract record for ACT Sequoia to reflect American Tower Investments (DCS Tower Sub).
The committee moved to amend Resolution #21-203 (as previously amended) to extend the contract for insurance-broker services with Tompkins Insurance through April 30, 2027, using one of the contract’s one-year extension options. The motion by Supervisor Rudgers was carried (ayes 6; absent: Roberts and Leuer for that vote).
Separately, the County Administrator requested correction to Resolution No. 26-256 to reflect an assignment of the Tower Site Lease from Tarpon Towers III, LLC to Tarpon Towers II, LLC (MUNIS #3929). The committee also amended Resolution 26-130 for ACT Sequoia, LLC to reflect American Tower Investments, LLC d/b/a DCS Tower Sub, LLC (MUNIS #3949); the minutes noted DCS Tower Sub has a separate TIN.
