The Winnsboro Independent School District Board of Trustees met in a special session Sept. 4 at the Winnsboro Memorial Intermediate School Cafeteria. President Brandon Green called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m., stated a quorum was present, and noted that notice of the meeting was posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
Board member Duncan McAdoo gave the invocation, which was followed by the pledge of allegiance. The minutes record approximately four guests in attendance. The board returned from executive session at 6:29 p.m. and adjourned at 6:30 p.m.; the minutes were certified and signed by President Brandon Green and Secretary Duncan McAdoo.
