Committee approves Fiscal Advisors contract for up to $50,000

County Treasurer R. LaWall presented a sales-tax update and the June 2026 investment income report to the Finance Committee. The reports were provided as informational background while the committee considered a professional services contract for financial advisory work.
On a motion by Supervisor Smith the committee authorized the Chairman to sign a contract with Fiscal Advisors of Syracuse for financial advisory services in an amount not to exceed $50,000, effective Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2027 (MUNIS contract #3943). The motion was recorded as carried with seven ayes and one absence (Leuer).
