Council moved to set a public hearing for plans, specifications and contract award for the Elm and Hickory sanitary sewer rehabilitation project (Resolution 2025-75). The motion carried and staff noted the project is currently out to bid with a letting date of Nov. 4, 2025 and a planned construction start in spring 2026.
In discussion, staff and engineers said the work is scheduled and that they will present plans and contract award recommendations at the public hearing set by the council. The council’s vote set the procedural step required to publish and hold the hearing on the project.
