Don Roberts appeared before the Morristown Town Council on Feb. 25 to raise a concern that his name had been used in connection with a Waste Management expansion. President Ralph Henderson apologized to Roberts and thanked him for providing information that helped clarify outstanding questions.
Council did not adopt an immediate policy in response but directed that the topic of a liaison for business growth remain on a future agenda so the council can determine the structure and responsibilities for that position. No formal vote or ordinance on Waste Management or the liaison position was recorded in the minutes.
