Vecchiarello described the savings as coming from joining local or new solar farms and emphasized that enrolling is "not a change in Supplier," meaning National Grid would remain the distribution company. Board members discussed the proposal briefly; no opposing motions were recorded. The authorization directs the Supervisor to sign the paperwork required to enroll the town and allows residents and businesses to opt in under the program's terms.
