Montgomery’s Conservation Commission reported on May 6 that the Town has received a Recreational Trails Program grant of $49,953 to support construction of a bridge and trails in the Town Forest.
Kip Potter, Committee member, Patrick Calecas, Chair, and Joan Hildreth, Committee member, provided an overview of recent progress, including a bridge-design site visit on May 5. Commissioners said the award will make for a busy upcoming period for volunteers and staff as design, permitting and construction planning proceed.
