One commissioner framed the request as: "what revenue neutral rate would be required to get otherwise, if you wanna say an R and R, revenue neutral rate, what what level of adjustment in the mill levy would be required to get to that?" They suggested static or dynamic fields showing the dollar and percentage consequences of common adjustments so legislators or sophisticated users can quickly see implications.
Presenters said some of those calculations may be limited by the vendor product (the county is using a commercially licensed simulator), but staff agreed they could add explanatory text or static information windows with revenue-neutral examples and CPI or assessed-value context. Commissioners also asked whether participants could save or export a report summarizing the changes they made; presenters said the prototype likely supports a screenshot of preferences and that they would confirm export/report features prior to launch.
