Commissioners move LIHTC waiver from consent to new business for fuller review

Tom told the commission that the MA/B/C/D waiver for a low-income housing tax credit item will be taken off consent and moved into new business ahead of the bid-board items so commissioners can discuss it in more detail.
"So the the MA, B, C, D, b waiver for low income housing tax credit will become a new business item," Tom said, adding the item will be positioned before the bid board but after the quarterly financial report. He said several commissioners requested the change for a variety of reasons.
No substantive discussion of the waiver's merits or specific properties took place during the agenda review; commissioners said they expected to address the item on the May 7 agenda.
