The Board approved an agreement with PayGOV.US, LLC on March 4 to provide consolidated credit-card processing for the Prothonotary’s Office.
Commissioner Joshua G. Parsons moved the approval and Commissioner Alice Yoder seconded. The county noted there is no cost to Lancaster County because transaction fees are paid directly by the filing party. The item passed unanimously.
County staff described the arrangement as a consolidation so a single vendor completes all in-office and online transactions. No changes to Prothonotary fees were recorded in the meeting minutes.
