Katie Jackman Bridal sworn in, pledges to strengthen communication with fire board

After the board adopted the resolution reappointing her, an oath of office was administered and Katie Jackman Bridal responded "I do." Bridal thanked the commission and Fire Chief Doug Williams and said she looks forward to strengthening communication between the steering council and the fire board.
"I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank the commission, the fire board, for this reappointment," Bridal said, and identified herself as the chair of the committee and an at-large member. Board members said they will schedule routine updates with the steering council to improve communication going forward.
