The board accepted a set of donations at the April 28 meeting, approving the list by roll call 7-0. Donations recorded in the minutes include winter hats for students in need from First Lutheran Church, $500 for the robotics team from Knobelsdorff Enterprises, $2,750 for the robotics team from the Gene Haas Foundation, and a $300 Girls Basketball Camp scholarship contribution via Community Education/Granny Basketball Group.
The board also congratulated the Speech team on making it to State and recognized Jeff Wibben for 28 years of service to Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools as he prepares to retire. The donations were accepted "with gratitude" and recorded in the minutes.
