The Lancaster Airport Authority adopted Resolution No. 08 of 2026 authorizing a lease with LNS Airport Properties, Inc. for Authority-owned parcels at the southwest intersection of Route 501 (Lititz Pike) and Millport Road. The resolution states the tract (about 39.7 acres) had been designated on the Airport Layout Plan for permanent non-aviation commercial use and that the land is not necessary for airport operations in the board’s judgment.
Counsel and staff said permitting time was increased and construction time decreased in the negotiated lease. The resolution authorizes William E. Foster, Airport Director, to execute the Assignment of Rental Car Concession Agreement and related documents; the resolution was moved by Daniel Ruppert, seconded by Casey Clugston and adopted by the board.
