The Village of Nassau board voted to approve a contract authorizing consultant review of the Scotia development after the applicant established an escrow of $5,000 to cover review costs. Mayor Bob Valente read the packet materials and described the escrow as a reduction from an earlier $8,000 estimate: "the project applicant has established escrow in the amount of $5,000 to cover the associated consultant review at this time, which will be invoiced based on our standard upper hourly rates."
Trustees moved and seconded the motion and carried it by voice vote. The board also noted staff will invoice against the escrow according to the municipality's standard hourly rates and that additional paperwork will be completed by staff after the motion passed.
