Council denies most water billing disputes, tables two for further investigation

At the Dec. 15 meeting, the City Engineer recommended denial of multiple customer water billing disputes, including addresses 293 N. Comrie Ave., 192 Co. Hwy. 107, 3575 St. Hwy. 29, 11 Hall Ave., 13 Leto Lane and 301 N. Perry St.; the Council voted to deny those disputes. The motion to deny was recorded with three ayes and two absences.
Two disputes, for 458 N. Perry Street and 290 Jansen Avenue, were tabled for further investigation at the City Engineer's recommendation; a separate motion to table those items also passed with three ayes and two absences. For one account (301 N. Perry Street) the meter test returned 99.9% accuracy and the minutes recommend denying the dispute.
