The clerk later reported that members met in executive session and that no action was taken while closed to the public.
After returning to open session at 7:59 p.m., and with Marsha Hartwig absent, board member Marvin Dement was appointed acting clerk for the remainder of the meeting. The board then approved hiring Amy Beebe and Lauren Medina as paraprofessionals on a motion by Aaron Frable and a second by Robyn Mangum; the vote recorded four yeas and one absent.
