On Oct. 30, 2024, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hewlett Neck adopted Proposed Bill HN-24-04 as Local Law HN-4 of 2024, making changes to Chapter 137 (Tree Preservation and Protection) of the village code. The board opened and closed the public hearing with no public comment and completed the statutory environmental review, concluding the proposal is an Unlisted Action under SEQRA and would not have a significant adverse environmental impact.
The board voted to direct Village Clerk/Treasurer Michelle Blandino to file Local Law HN-4 of 2024 with the New York Secretary of State and take all further actions required by law.
