Hewlett Neck board cancels prior contract, approves Aview Security camera installation up to $35,000
Summary

Trustee Russel Weinrib provided an update on the village’s Verizon matter before the Board considered security camera procurement. The Treasurer recommended a budget modification moving $7,000 from contingency into the Public Safety security cameras line (3120.41). On motion by Mayor Moshe Blinder, seconded by Deputy Mayor Isaac Showman, the Board approved the budget change unanimously.
The Board then voted to terminate and reject its earlier approval of Mittman Low Voltage and to accept Aview Security’s proposal to provide and install a security camera system at a price not to exceed $35,000. The minutes record the Board’s action: "the Board voted to terminate and reject the previous approval of Mittman Low Voltage for cameras and to accept and approve a proposal from Aview Security to provide and install security cameras, at a price not to exceed $35,000.00."
