Administrator Robin Allen told the board she and financial officer Tina Crider-Honeycutt have identified discrepancies in county charges to the department's accounts and are reconciling records going back several years. The minutes cite "multiple overcharges for employee's insurance premiums, liability insurance, and more," and state the two staff are comparing ICPHD records with the County Finance Office.
Allen also informed the board that several large grants are ending and total grant funding will be down for fiscal year 2027. She said the department will continue applying for grants as they become available while the reconciliation and audit processes proceed.
