Highway Superintendent David Babcock reported he was in Albany advocating for CHIPS funding during the March 4 meeting. In board action, Councilmember David Spann moved to accept the State D.O.T. and Chautauqua County annual contract bids for 2026, to post roads, and to accept the Town of Ellicott blacktop bid; Councilmember David Brown seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
