Trappe conditionally recognizes 96 additional EDUs from Well 4R after GMB review

Town consultant James Cook reported Dec. 3 that Well 4R is producing "better than expected" and, according to production figures and a recommendation from GMB's Katherine McAllister, could provide approximately 96 additional equivalent dwelling units (EDUs). Councilors voted unanimously to grant conditional recognition of those EDUs pending a Certificate of Potability and written confirmation from GMB that Well 4R is operational and fully integrated into the water treatment plant.
Cook also updated the council on a chemical storage building delay related to an 8-12 week lead time for the building; GMB requested a letter from Rauch confirming the building will be done by March 1. Commissioner Michael Sullivan moved to grant conditional approval for the additional EDUs; President Newnam seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
