James Cook presented a Lakeside proposal to disconnect two irrigation meters and exchange the EDUs those meters used for 11 EDUs to be applied to building permits. The proposal would require Lakeside to pay any revenue shortfall until residential connections generate equivalent revenue; the council approved the trade unanimously.
President Newnam read the proposal and Commissioner Michael Sullivan seconded the motion to approve. The council recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the irrigation meter trade, approving Lakeside’s proposed handling of EDU allocation and revenue deficit responsibility.
