The Jerseyville City Council accepted a letter of resignation from Commissioner Zachary Crawford and appointed Jennifer Graklanhoff to fill the unexpired term as Commissioner of Public Property.
Mayor Kevin Stork read Crawford’s resignation. Commissioner Anthony Steckel moved and Commissioner John Miles seconded the appointment of Graklanhoff. Roll call on the appointment showed Commissioner Steve Pohlman voted aye, Crawford abstained, Steckel aye, Miles aye and Mayor Stork aye; the motion carried. Graklanhoff currently serves on the Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals and was administered the oath of office by City Clerk Denise Hayes during the meeting.
Graklanhoff took her seat for the remainder of the meeting. The council did not record additional discussion or conditions attached to the appointment during the session.
