The Jerseyville City Council accepted two resignations and appointed a replacement to the Planning and Zoning Board on Sept. 16. The council accepted Derek Russell's resignation (motion by Commissioner Pohlman) and later accepted Commissioner Jennifer Graklanoff's resignation from the board; both motions passed by unanimous roll call.
To fill a vacancy, the council appointed Sue Cutright to the Planning and Zoning Board to serve the remainder of Derek Russell's term, which expires in April 2028. Commissioners moved and seconded the appointment and Ms. Cutright was present at the meeting when the council voted to confirm her appointment.
