Jerseyville council authorizes OSLAD FY26 grant application for Donor Pool improvements

The Jerseyville City Council on Sept. 16 voted unanimously to submit an Illinois Department of Natural Resources Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant application for improvements to Donor Pool. Commissioner Jennifer Graklanoff made the motion, Commissioner Anthony Steckel seconded it, and the vote was unanimous.
The action included a resolution authorizing submission, a commitment of the local matching share and authorization for Mayor Kevin Stork, City Clerk Denise Hayes and the Director of Public Works to sign grant paperwork. A public hearing on the proposed OSLAD FY26 application was held earlier at 5:45 p.m., per the meeting minutes.
