Council approves Cooper’s Crossing Phase 3 final plat with correction to irrigation language

The Parma City Council approved the final plat for Cooper’s Crossing Phase 3 on July 14, 2025, with a condition that a reference to an "irrigation district" on page 4 of the plat be corrected and removed. Council member Jordon Hurd identified the incorrect reference and requested the change prior to final recordation.
An applicant representative, identified in the minutes as Ashley from Cooper’s Crossing, told the council the development has applied for and received water rights. Council member Hurd moved to approve the final plat with the condition to remove the irrigation-district language; Council member Ransey Portenier seconded the motion and it passed.
Council also asked the developer to remind construction crews to observe posted speed limits and stop signs while traveling through town. The approval was recorded as a conditional final-plat acceptance; the city will require the plat correction before filing the record.
