Public Works locates City Hall water leak, plans pole barn and completes I&I testing

Public Works Supervisor Dustin Riggs told the council that City Hall experienced a lengthy water outage while crews traced a leak that was not apparent at the surface. After excavating several potholes, crews found the leak at the corner of Bates and 2nd Street, repaired it and restored water service.
Riggs also reported plans for a pole barn near the Old Fort Boise Museum to provide storage for the museum and stated that inflow and infiltration (I&I) testing on the system was completed on May 11. The items were presented as part of the Public Works staff report recorded in the minutes.
