The Rangely Town Council voted to adopt Ordinance 7022025 to de‑annex the Chamber Minor Subdivision and return the property to Rio Blanco County jurisdiction.
Staff reported no public comments were received from surrounding properties or special districts to which notice had been mailed. The ordinance was introduced at public hearing and the council later voted to approve the measure. The chair announced the motion and the council affirmed the ordinance by voice vote.
Council members said the de‑annexation had been discussed earlier in the meeting and moved ahead without additional public opposition at the hearing. The motion to adopt the ordinance was made and seconded and the chair said the motion carried.
