Calumet council sets Feb. 25 public hearing on FY26 budget after reviewing FY25 amendments

Calumet Village Manager Megan Haselden reviewed proposed amendments to the FY25 budget and presented the proposed FY26 budget, noting changes that were discussed at the Feb. 11 work session. She told the council that "The Public Budget Hearing will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025."
Haselden and trustees discussed the potential effect of current federal funding changes on the village budget and on anticipated grant funding; no formal adjustments were made at the Feb. 18 meeting. The council took no final budget vote at this session and directed that the public hearing be held on Feb. 25 so residents may weigh in.
