The Rangely Town Council approved a revision to Resolution 2024-06 that reauthorizes the town manager to act as the authorized agent to negotiate and sign documents for the Sagewood West affordable housing project.
A council member moved to approve "Resolution 2024-06, revised, a resolution amending 2024-06 and reauthorizing the town manager, Lisa Perry, as the authorized agent to negotiate and execute all documents on behalf of the town for the Sagewood West affordable housing project." The motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Staff explained the revision primarily updates negotiation authority to include capital investment fees with the project recipient and that once the contract closes further changes would require a new resolution.
Council members noted the intent to close this transaction before any incoming town manager assumes the role and said further negotiations would trigger additional council consideration if needed.
