Board renews Great West Engineering contract for $15,000 annual services

The Abimore Community Infrastructure District No. 1 board voted May 27 to renew its contract with Great West Engineering for district engineering services for fiscal year 2027 at an annual amount of $15,000. Staff described Great West as the district's engineer responsible for reviewing developer construction and providing engineering statements.
"Great West Engineering is the district's engineer. They do all reviews of all of the construction that is done by the developer and to provide an engineer statement to that effect," the district financial manager said. The manager added the renewal amount is unchanged from the prior year and confirmed the contract amount is $15,000 for the year.
Board member Gillis moved to approve the contract renewal and the motion was seconded. The board approved the contract by voice vote, authorizing staff to continue using Great West Engineering for plan review and certifications.
