Rob Allison presented a boundary-line adjustment request for property at the base of Highmount Ski Area on behalf of Baston Holdings Group and Crossroad Ventures. "What we'd like to do is transfer 1.63 acres to that parcel, which will actually give it frontage on the road and alleviate the need for the 12 foot wide right of way," he said, describing the change needed so a homeowner's parcel will receive road frontage.
Allison recounted prior 2013 work that consolidated buildings and parking to a Crossroad Ventures parcel and said the proposal will restore the Highmount parcel as a separate tax parcel of roughly 100 acres while moving 1.63 acres back to the neighboring landowner. Board members asked the applicant to add a clear note on the map stating acreage before and after the transfer so the record shows no illegal parcel was created; Allison agreed to add the note and provide tax-map references.
