The Studio Eagle Design Review Board on May 28 approved a change of use and exterior modifications for a single‑story, roughly 5,040‑square‑foot building used by 44 Iron Design.
Applicant Walt Lindgren of Lindgren Libri Architecture described exterior cladding changes, new vertical siding, revised front parking with one accessible stall and four front stalls plus four stalls inside a fenced area, and two fencing options previously conditioned by the board. "There already is a license agreement that's already been established between the owner and ACHD," Lindgren said, noting the team will provide the executed agreement to staff.
Planning staff Barb Williams told the board that site‑specific conditions 1–11 incorporate the board's previous direction and that condition 11 preserves an option for applicants to propose an alternate fence design later. After limited board questions, the chair moved and the board approved the findings and conclusions of law to allow the change of use and exterior modifications.
The approval was unanimous on the record; staff will verify the ACHD license and accept the revised landscape plan and selected fencing option as part of final review.
