During discussion Councilmember Hahnem and others expressed concern about the long-term viability of new fueling stations and suggested the planning commission consider a requirement that developers post a decommissioning bond or similar financial assurance to remove or remediate fueling infrastructure in the future. Staff said they would research potential options and report back for the planning commission's consideration.
