The Hillsdale Sewer/Infrastructure Committee reported that new fabrics for an ongoing sewer system project have arrived at the Highway Garage and are awaiting a scheduled installation date with contractor Earthworks. Committee member D. Michael Dvorchak said he is following up with Earthworks to set the date and noted the importance of coordinating other tasks concurrently.
The committee asked that tank cleaning and disinfection be scheduled to coincide with the fabric installation to minimize repeated plant outages; the transcript records “Need to schedule Tank Cleaning/Disinfect at same time (Baldwin).” Les Coon confirmed he periodically flushes the lines that feed the nozzles and will demonstrate those procedures to Earthworks when they arrive.
Committee members also discussed supply logistics: D. Michael Dvorchak said he had emailed the parasitic acid supplier about delivery and that nozzle deliveries still needed checking. The group identified sequencing steps for the installation, testing, and contractor coordination to reduce plant downtime.
