Town approves budget amendment to bring salt-shed reserve to $150,000

The chair also flagged a line-item overage in traffic-control contractuals tied to safety work on yellow crosswalk yield stickers and proposed a $1,000 contingency transfer to cover an overrun in court contractual costs.
Board members discussed uncertain West End Bridge material costs and agreed to monitor sales-tax receipts. The chair said an audit and reclassification of lines had been used to keep the overall budget in order.
