The Assembly took time for recognitions and brief reports. Member Scott Newman thanked Chris Weiss for 38 years of service to the library and congratulated her on retirement. Member Jeff Meucci thanked Chief Kerr, Sergeant Ayriss and the Police and Fire Departments for an emergency training exercise at the elementary school.
Mayor Bob Lynn read into the record a newspaper article noting EMS team members Sara Wright, Katie Pearson and Michael Burnett won the regional pediatric CPR competition. Member Bob Martin recognized a Lutheran Church fundraiser that raised approximately $11,000 to benefit several local charities. There was no manager's report for this meeting.
