Residents petition Hill-area board for more signage and speed review after chip-seal work

Board members discussed the limits of local authority—noting New York state's default statutory speed limit is 55 mph unless posted—and the town’s modest signage budget and movable speed-sign program. One board member recommended residents contact law enforcement for enforcement concerns while the town pursues posting and a formal petition-driven review.
