ICPHD reports April inspections, clinic activity and 209 seniors enrolled in services

Robin Allen presented the ICPHD program summary for April, reporting specific inspection and clinic counts. Environmental Health performed 45 food inspections, issued 13 temporary food permits, conducted 5 sealed well inspections and completed 49 tobacco-compliance inspections. Community Health reported 5 animal bites, one rabies case investigation and a TB case that was classified as latent.
Allen also reported on direct-service activities: two after-hours vaccination clinics, a dental clinic held on May 6 and 39 puberty talks delivered; staff accessed seven inmates for services. She noted Senior Services will host another Bingo event this summer and that 209 seniors are currently enrolled in ICPHD senior services.
