Polaris Engineering representative Kevin Hoffman and applicant Seth Feronti presented a proposal to convert an existing residence at 37305 Colorado Avenue into offices for Feronti Insurance and to add eight parking spaces and an ADA ramp. Planning staff said all comments were addressed and recommended approval.
Ms. Fechter noted Feronti Insurance has been located near the Avon Lake border since 2005 and welcomed the business’s relocation into the French Creek District. The Commission voted to approve the minor modification unanimously.
The approved plan preserves the house’s exterior appearance while providing an ADA-accessible entrance and additional parking to meet office needs. Staff will proceed with standard permit reviews and building code checks prior to issuance.
