The board was told bids have been solicited for prairie‑dog mitigation in the Preserve and that mitigation is anticipated to occur in July depending on contractor scheduling and supply availability. Treasurer Pete Giusti told the board money for prairie‑dog treatment will come out of the association's existing budget.
The minutes do not record a vote authorizing extra funds or a specific contractor selection; they record only that bids were solicited and that the expense is expected to be covered from current budget lines. Further procurement or contract approval would appear on a future agenda if a contractor is selected.
