County departments report courthouse moves, staffing updates and reimbursement news

The public defender reported full staffing (five attorneys) and a new attorney (Poggle) who will handle traffic and felony work after training; probation staff said some state reimbursement is expected (roughly $1,800 through April plus other claims submitted); and the circuit clerk said staff moved back into office space, new workstations arrived July 21, and the office will begin hiring one full-time and one part-time clerk.
Departments requested board patience during renovations and said they will provide additional detail on budgets or staffing if requested by the board.
